Sniper Elite V2 Remastered Launches Tomorrow With New Launch Trailer Today.

Rebellion, the developer and publisher behind the Sniper Elite series, has released a beautiful launch trailer for its upcoming hotly anticipated release of Sniper Elite V2 Remastered. The game is scheduled to launch tomorrow, May 14.

While not every new upgrade will be available on the Nintendo Switch release, including the 4K visuals and 16 players online play. The Switch online play will be limited to only 8 players, the trailer showcases the gripping gameplay, revamped visuals and new features with highlights both new and old fans can look forward to.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered takes place during the heart of World War 2 in 1945 Berlin. You play as veteran sharpshooter Karl Fairburne and must use your skills, patience, and cunning to prevent the unthinkable. Your mission to go behind enemy lines and prevent the Nazi V2 rocket technology from falling into the hands of the Russians. Trapped between two armies in a race against time, you must use stealth and your deadly aim to succeed.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered enhances the originals iconic sniping and advanced ballistics with a bountiful array of improvements and added extras. On the Nintendo Switch, the game will feature stunning remastered visuals, from overhauled assets to modernized rendering and much, much more.

The game will also add a new versatile photo mode that lets you pause and move the action frame-by-frame for that perfect X-ray ill Cam shot. You will also be able to play through the campaign and multiplayer modes as one of the 7 new characters from the developers Zombie Army series. Unlike other platforms, however, the Nintendo Switch online will be limited to 8 players online across all modes.

To add to the all the rest of the incentives to purchase this release, Rebellion will be including all the DLC released for the game including the iconic “Assassinate the Fuhrer” mission. Sniper Elite V2 Remastered releases tomorrow digitally for the Nintendo Switch. The physical edition of the game will be available on Friday, May 17th. Sniper Elite V2 will be priced a $34.99.
