Nintendo Posts Another Week on Top in Japan Media Create Sales: 11/19/18 – 11/25/18

Software Sales

The Switch had another strong week with Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! still selling strongly. The two Pokemon games brought in another 162,467 units sold bringing it’s total up to over 823k units sold LTD, so far. Nintendo split the top 10 in software sales with the PlayStation 4 while only claiming 2 of the top 5 spots.

Hardware Sales

On the hardware side, Nintendo dominated once again with the Switch selling over 108 thousand units for the week. While this is down from the 200 thousand the Switch sold the week prior, it’s still more than the rest of the systems tracked combined. The 3DS family came in at 9,884 units sold for the week.

I started my love affair with gaming with Mario, as most kids do, and continued it with Dragon Warrior(Dragon Quest for those who don't know history).
