Level-5 Confirmed New Ni No Kuni Game Coming


Current generation games rejoiced when news broke that Level-5s wildly successful JRPG Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch was going to see a release on the Nintendo Switch. With that launch upcoming in  September of this year, the developer has released a bit more information.

In an interview with the Japanese magazine Nikkei, Level-5 president Akihiro Hino revealed that the studio is a new Ni No Kuni title would release some time after the planned Ni No Kuni anime that is set to release in Japan on August 29. The movie is part of a plan to develop the series into a larger franchise.

Hino explained this is why they are releasing the remastered version of the original game on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as the Nintendo Switch port of the title. He also mentioned a smartphone app related to the franchise would also be released down the road as well.

Further details on this are few, but we will keep you informed of any new information as it is released.
