Japan Sales Charts: March 18, 2020

Nintendo has done well to continue its domination of the Japanese gaming market as the world has slowed to a crawl due to the COViD-19 virus outbreak. While they did not hold the top spot in the software charts, that is held by the new release of Nioh 2 from Koei Tecmo, Nintendo did, however, keep a grip on 8 of the top 10 spots on the list.

On the hardware front, Nintendo saw the Switch family sell 57,274 units, while Sony’s PlayStation 4 family sold 14,925 units, with the 3DS family sold bringing up the bottom at just 1,362 units.
