Famitsu Sales For Week Ending June 16

Another week is in the books for the Nintendo Switch, and it is another week of first place in the Japanese market. Below is the Famitsu sales report for the week of June 10 to June 16. Previous weeks sales are in brackets for comparison.

Hardware

The Switch help on to the top spot over the PlayStation 4 family with a total of 5,559 more units sold than the PlayStation 4 family. The Switch had an increase in units sold over the previous week by 731 more units. The Nintendo 3DS family of handhelds is still going, well, going at 2,768 units sold this week. The shocker of the week comes from Microsoft, with the Xbox One X outselling the PS Vita.

Software

The Switch dominated the software sales charts by taking the top nine spots, leaving the lone PlayStation 4 title in at number 10. However, only two of those top 9 titles were third-party titles with Nintendo developed titles taking the rest of the list.
