Dragon Quest Triple Pack Coming West

Square Enix recently announced that the games that started the entire Dragon Quest series were coming to the Switch in Asia this year with little news of them coming to North America. We now have confirmation that the first three Dragon Quest games will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe.

All three titles will be available to fans on September 27th. Prices have also been announced for the titles. Dragon Quest will only cost $4.99, while Dragon Quest 2: Luminaries of the Legendary Line and Dragon Quest 3: The Seeds of Salvation will cost $6.49 and $12.49, respectively.

Reports on these versions have stated they will be based on the updated mobile versions with updated graphics and better gameplay. It will also mark the first time that the games will be released in North America under the Dragon Quest name, as the original releases for the NES were localized under the name Dragon Warrior.

Raymond Turner

I grew up on the Atari, Nintendo Entertainment System and the Sega Genesis. I started my love affair with gaming with Mario, as most kids do, and continued it with Dragon Warrior(Dragon Quest for those who don't know history). Some of my favorite games growing up were the simplest, with Adventure for the Atari 2600 being one of the games I had the most fun with. Still to this day I enjoy that game, and those duck looking dragons. Today I play a variety of games when my mind will let me, which comes in spurts. Right now I am playing a bit of Minecraft.
